Q). How things with you?

Im good just grateful & happy that i released my first single ‘So many ways’. Im working through what i need to do next but im really excited for you all to get to know Alexus J! 🤎

 

Q). Where did the whole Alexus J journey all begin?

I have been singing since i was 3 years old but started making music properly in 2019! But i first started singing in church.

 

Q). Your single ‘So Many Ways’ is available now. How has the response for that been?

It’s been amazinggggg so much love & i’ve had so much good feedback from the single.

 

Q). Whats it like being in the studio with Alexus J?

Littttt in always bussing
joke but also focused. I have a great team around who understand my vision and sound.

 

Q). How would you describe your sound?

Well from the feedback im getting my sound is a mixture of old school and new music which is hella accurate because i love & listen to alot of old school music.

Q). Is there anybody who you would love to do a track with?

Alicia Keys is one of my biggest inspirations
Jazmine sullivan is just a G! Her technical ability is ridiculous
HER - i just love everything about her, she’s authentic and super talented.

 

Q). Who is your biggest influence?

Theres too much to mention but i grew up listening to reggae, gospel, rnb, old school garage and soul music.

 

Q). Why did you choose to get into the music industry?

Music is my one and only true passion - its apart of me.

 

Q). What would you say is your biggest achievement in music so far?

It may sound mad but just putting myself out there is big for me so im really proud of myself in that aspect.

 

Q). What can we expect from you for the rest of the year?

Im working on my FIRST album so watch out for it!
