Chiron Loxton Q&A

Q). Hows things with you?
Things are going pretty well at the moment. I’m very close to sending off my new project for release, so quite stressful but exciting times ahead.
Q). Where did the whole Chiron Loxton journey all begin?
I was always making beats throughout the school period of my life and took an interest in creative writing. As I grew into my confidence, I decided to take this passion further and focus more on establishing myself as a music artist.
Q). Your single ‘Won’t Change’ is available now. Tell us more about that?
I described the song as “A period of reflection before releasing my upcoming project.” My last album Out In The Trees was labelled an introspective piece on human behaviour. I feel like I will always carry this self reflective trait with me and that’s why I called it Won’t Change. I also did previous work with the producer of this track for that album.
Q). Whats it like being in the studio with Chiron Loxton?
I like to isolate myself in the studio so I can feel locked into the song I want to create and connect with the listeners.
Q). How would you describe your sound?
I would say it’s Alternative HipHop/Rap as I’m trying to develop my own sound and impression whilst respecting the genre.
Q). Is there anybody who you would love to do a track with?
I could name multiple artists I would love to collab with! But the first person that came to mind whilst reading this would have to be Logic. I feel like we would connect quite well before heading into the studio and work on something crazy. 🔥
Q). Who is your biggest influence?
Again, I have many musicians and a couple family members who could contribute to this! But if I had to say, I would go for my favourite rappers Logic/Eminem/NF. I admire the determination they had on the come up days leading up to their success. I also feel Kid Ink & Tyga had a huge impact on the initial direction of where I wanted to take my music!
Q). Why did you choose to get into the music industry?
After attending one of my first festivals. I felt like I wanted to pursue a lifestyle like this where I could create an atmosphere too. I remember seeing Drake perform live and him saying “It doesn’t matter where you are from or who you are. We’re all in here now enjoying the music.”
Q). What would you say is your biggest achievement in music so far?
I’ve recently hit 100k streams which in itself is amazing to see! It’s always great reading what magazines & blogs have to say about my music and image. I look forward to continuing this movement and sharing my music worldwide.
Q). What can we expect from you for the rest of the year?
I’m currently working on my new album Mixed Emotions. A project expressing human behaviour at various emotional levels. From letting go of everything and allowing the night to run wild, to sitting on a beach in the evening glow reflecting on your character. I’m hoping to release it in November!
Q). Do you have any social media for new fans to follow you?
Yes, you can find me on all major streaming and social media platforms under my name!
