Q). How things with you?
Really well couldn't be better life's moving smooth so I can't complain weather its moving smooth or not we keep it moving.
Q). Where did the whole Jay Ramsay journey all begin?
Began back in 2008 when I started messing about on reason 3 then not long after ended up going to college for about 3 years then got into the Nottingham music scene more then I got sidetracked for a couple years then started making music again had another break then during the start of lockdown I just went for it and havnt really stopped since and I'll continue to keep the vibe going this time.
Q). Your E.P ‘Flip The Switch’ is available now. How has the response for that been?
The response has been great radio has shown me love local people and people out of the city even people I wouldn't of thought would listen and share from old school ravers to the older generation young generation it's great to see people are enjoying it.
Q). Whats it like being in the studio with Jay Ramsay?
It's a good vibe always a laugh energy is always a positive one and when it's time to work we work no distractions I like to get work done and dusted onto the next one.
Q). How would you describe your sound?
I like to keep things simple but effective in my production give everything chance to breathe my sound has abit of old school sound mixed with new waves from the drums to the bass and the vocals I use like to mix it up abit.
Q). Is there anybody who you would love to do a track with?
There's too many to mention I wouldn't say there's a specific one but if I had to choose it would be Badboy Chiller Crew.
Q). Who is your biggest influence?
I'd say the biggest influence is my dad because over the years most the music I heard he introduced me to and he helped me with the production side of things and supported me throughout everything within music.
Q). Why did you choose to get into the music industry?
I always wanted to be a music producer from like the age of 7 I just became attached to music and sounds from a very young age and it made me happy and I suppose as the saying goes do what makes you happy in life.
Q). What would you say is your biggest achievement in music so far?
My biggest achievement to me is that my daughter is my biggest fan.
Q). What can we expect from you for the rest of the year?
You can expect another 2 or 3 singles to drop and a few collabs with other artist and a video by the end of the year and much more next year.
