Rickyworthless Q&A

Q). How things with you?

Things are great! I find myself around good company, I’m working hard, and my music is only progressing and getting better!

Q). Where did the whole RICKYWORTHLESS journey all begin?

So RICKYWORTHLESS was born early 2017, I had been rapping with friends since 2013, and making music for much longer than that, but tracks started coming out under RICKYWORTHLESS around feb 2017.

Q). Your single ‘Cursed’ is available now. How has the response for that been?

I’ll be honest I really could have promoted it better, but I have heard nothing but good things from the people that have listened! It was also featured on the Killa Tapes magazine too!

Q). Whats it like being in the studio with RICKYWORTHLESS?

Oh that really varies on what mood I am in and what type of song I am creating, i can be the most easy artist for a producer/engineer to work with, or the absolute worst and most chaotic!

Q). How would you describe your sound?

Refreshing!

Q). Is there anybody who you would love to do a track with?

Recently I have been listening to a lot of “your old droog” so an artist that is alive I would probably say him. But dead or alive? Probably MF DOOM!

Q). Who is your biggest influence?

In life? Myself. Musically? I would probably say Kurt Cobain.

Q). Why did you choose to get into the music industry?

From around 11-12 I have known I am going to be the biggest artist of all time. I honestly feel music was chosen for me way before I had the choice to choose for myself.

Q). What would you say is your biggest achievement in music so far?

I would say maybe my first headline sell out show, being featured on the killa tapes mag, or maybe opening for Genesis Elijah.

Q). What can we expect from you for the rest of the year?

So my most successful song “Tongue In Cheek” has a music video dropping in the next 2 months! And my EP “I don’t fit in” will be out before the weather starts getting cold again! Mind, this tape will not be a hip hop album, the concept is feeling I cannot really fit into any of the niche little corners of music, struggling to fall under a label. I believe this tape will completely change the face of music as we know it.

Q). Do you have any social media for new fans to follow you?

So “RICKYWORTHLESS” on all platforms, I have a lot of videos already on YouTube under the same name. My instagram is @worthless.ig for anybody looking to check out my stuff! It was nice chatting to you man have a great day!
