Q). Hows things with you? 

Hey, I’m doing well thank you, I hope you’re all well too.

 
Q). Where did the whole Klary journey all begin?

I’ve always loved to sing since I was probably 4 years old, but my journey as Klary began in 2009, when I participated to my first ever singing competition. After that I sang in many bands and acoustic duos but eventually I went back to be just Klary and decided to go on as a solo artist.

 
Q). Your single ‘Paradise’ is available now. Tell us more about that? 

I worked on ‘Paradise’ with Romello, he produced and co-wrote the song with me. It’s a song about a love story that’s fun and exciting, a love story that makes you happy and makes you forget about the rest of the world. The references to the Summer are just a way to describe this love as warm and fun, it’s a type of love that makes you escape from the daily life, exactly like a fun summer vacation to an amazing beach destination.

 

Q). Whats it like being in the studio with Klary?

I like to be well organised, and I can be quite demanding as I’m a perfectionist, so I could spend a lot of time in recording the same section over and over until I’m satisfied with it. But it’s also a lot of fun, I love to be in studio and work in building up a song and make it amazing!

 

Q). How would you describe your sound?

Unique. This is something I’ve been told many times by different people and it’s honestly the best compliment I’ve got. Being unique is what makes an artist different from the rest and I love that.

 
Q). Is there anybody who you would love to do a track with? 

There are so many but if I have to pick my top 3 I’d say Ed Sheeran, Ariana Grande and Dua Lipa.

 
Q). Who is your biggest influence? 

The Backstreet Boys were the ones that introduced me to the music when I was younger and then growing up there where other artists that influenced me and my music. But The Backstreet Boys are most definitely my biggest influence.

 

Q). Why did you choose to get into the music industry? 

It wasn’t something I really chose, it happened naturally. I remember I was watching some music videos on MTV and realised that I wanted to do the same, that I wanted to sing for thousands of people and it all started.

 
Q). What would you say is your biggest achievement in music so far? 

Releasing my own music. I was always shy and insecure, I was so scared to put myself out there with something that I’ve created but it was the best decision I’ve ever made.

 
Q). What can we expect from you for the rest of the year?

I have a new song coming out in December, it’ll be a bit different from my previous releases, more R&B with a totally different vibe. I can’t wait for you to hear it!
