Q). How things with you? 

Im well, I have been working alot recently so im trying to reset and some new inspiration.

 

Q). Where did the whole Ethan Hill journey all begin?

Im from a small place called Flitwick, in Bedfordshire. I started DJing when i was 14 and learnt all the words to rappers delight when I was 12. It was such an important time in my life

Q). Your single ‘Poison’ feat. Nolay is available now. How has the response for that been? 

Its been great, its my first real dive into the music industry, if you love hip hop then im sure you will love Posion. Nolay went crazy on it.

 

Q). Whats it like being in the studio with Ethan Hill? 

I love building with an artist in mind, i dont make loads of music. I really like to taylor my songs around someone. Music should always be collaborative.

Q). How would you describe your sound?

I just make soul music. I want to be known for something classic. My music is not for everyone and im happy about that. Im here to give you an uncomfortable listening experience.

Q). Is there anybody who you would love to do a track with? 

Nines would be at the top of my list. Another person would be Planet Asia. And also the usual candidates like Nas and Jay Z.

 

Q). Who is your biggest influence? 

9th Wonder, Apollo Brown and James Brown

Q). Why did you choose to get into the music industry? 

When u love music so much at some point you will try to start making it. I think its a natural progression.

 

Q). What would you say is your biggest achievement in music so far? 

Building an actual career doing something i love. Its one of the hardest thing to do. And im living it everyday. Im very greatful.

 

Q). What can we expect from you for the rest of the year?

I have an album with Beni Laylo called Parusia. Its got some BIG features on it and im really proud of what we built together.
