Rizzy B Q&A

Q). How things with you?

I’m good, just busy and working. Trying to release as much music as possible

Q). Where did the whole RizzyB journey all begin?

It probably started from a young age just burning songs from limewire onto CDs and playing them in the Walkman, I fell in love with music from early. I started going studio with friends in secondary school but never decided to take it seriously until I finished Uni. Since then I’ve been trying my best!

Q). Your single ‘Lets Flow’ is available now. How has the response for that been?

I took a hiatus due to personal reasons and that was my first song back! It’s definitely about building back into my “Flow”, so I dropped another single called Been Blessed and both tracks have been getting good love and support which is encouraging

Q). Whats it like being in the studio with RizzyB?

It’s a vibe! we get the juice in, I go into sessions with my songs and beats prepared so it’s all about having a good time executing , I’m due to start creating some content for everyone to see.

Q). How would you describe your sound?

It’s definitely a mix up! I take inspiration from the vibes that dancehall, R&B and Afrobeats bring but I try to marry it with skilful lyricism, I’m still trying to find the perfect name but I call it Anatural to me.

Q). Is there anybody who you would love to do a track with?

I listen to a lot of music. In the U.K. I really like acts like Odeal, Mnelia and Lotto Ash. They definitely bring a vibe and I’d love to test my lyrical ability against guys like Stormzy and Dave. Internationally Popcaan and Drake and I also have a few closer people that I’ve been meaning to work with and hopefully we can get something popping.

Q). Who is your biggest influence?

I have like four, Drake,MJ, Usher, Kartel musically but guys like 50 cent and Jay-Z I look to emulate in other ways aswell as musically.

Q). Why did you choose to get into the music industry?

Destiny.

Q). What would you say is your biggest achievement in music so far?

If I’m honest I don’t feel like I’ve achieved any where near what I want to but maybe I need to be more comfortable with what I have done so far and recognise it. I’ve been on official Spotify playlists, national radio, achieved a quarter of a million streams. So yeah there is definitely things I can be proud of but I do want a lot more.

Q). What can we expect from you for the rest of the year?

Drop! Drop! Drop! I just want to release as much as I can after my break and this time I’m not going to stop!
